Glasseyes Terms of Use

Effective: August 3, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Glasseyes macOS application and related services (the "Service"), operated by James Jackson ("Glasseyes," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Glasseyes Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Glasseyes for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

License

Subject to these Terms and Apple's applicable usage rules, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Glasseyes for lawful purposes. Glasseyes and its software, branding, and original content remain owned by us and our licensors.

Acceptable use

You may not use Glasseyes to:

• Break any law, regulation, contract, workplace rule, interview rule, or platform policy.
• Record, monitor, photograph, or process another person's information without any notice or consent required by law.
• Deceive an employer, interviewer, school, customer, or other person where assistance or recording must be disclosed.
• Invade privacy, infringe intellectual-property rights, bypass security controls, or obtain unauthorized access.
• Harm, threaten, harass, defraud, impersonate, or exploit another person.
• Disrupt, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

You are responsible for your prompts, recordings, screenshots, transcripts, other submitted content, and use of AI output.

Stealth Mode is best effort

Stealth Mode asks macOS to exclude the Glasseyes panel from supported screen-sharing and capture paths. It is a convenience feature, not a security or secrecy system.

We do not promise or guarantee that Glasseyes will be invisible, hidden, private, or undetectable. Stealth Mode may fail or behave differently because of macOS changes, screenshots, recording software, conferencing tools, remote-control tools, device-management or monitoring software, external cameras, notifications, logs, process inspection, or other capture and observation methods.

You must assume that Glasseyes and its activity can be detected. You are responsible for testing your setup, using the Service transparently when required, and following all applicable consent, recording, employment, interview, school, and platform rules. We are not responsible for consequences caused by relying on Stealth Mode to conceal prohibited or undisclosed activity.

AI and transcription limitations

AI-generated answers, summaries, suggestions, search results, and transcripts can be incomplete, delayed, incorrect, misleading, or inappropriate. Glasseyes does not guarantee accuracy, availability, response time, interview performance, employment outcomes, or any other result.

Do not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other expert advice. Review important output before using or sharing it. You remain responsible for every decision and communication you make.

Third-party services

Glasseyes may connect to AI, transcription, search, analytics, diagnostics, and Apple services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and may change, fail, or stop operating. We are not responsible for third-party services or for providers you configure yourself.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how Glasseyes handles information. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content to the Service and allow it to be processed as described there.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Glasseyes useful and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Features may change, become unavailable, or be discontinued. Updates may be required for continued use.

Purchases

If paid features are offered through Apple, Apple processes the transaction and its payment, refund, cancellation, and subscription terms apply. Except where law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glasseyes and its operator, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, employment, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from the Service.

Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your submitted content, unlawful use of the Service, violation of another person's rights, or breach of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using Glasseyes at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create risk or harm, or if continuing the Service is no longer practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Apple terms

Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Glasseyes. If these Terms conflict with Apple's required minimum end-user-license terms or applicable App Store rules, Apple's required terms control to the extent of the conflict. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the applicable provisions.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
